TAKE YOUR AUTHORITY!
It’s time to do away with negative self talk! You MUST!
You must realize that YOU are the answer. The choice is all yours.
You Can Change, Or Remain The Same.
God gave you the brain!
God gave you the choice.
God gave you the control.
God gave you the power.
You are not a puppet on a string so YOU must do the work. (Faith without works is dead.)
The more you “feed” your fears by giving in to them and letting them control you, the more they multiply and grow. Starve them, and they become weaker and weaker. On the other hand, knowledge takes away fear. The more you know about something, the less you fear it.
Romans 8:15 says, “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear.” Think about that Scripture. God did not give you a spirit of bondage. He broke your bondage, so why put up with fear.
The following is the daily proclamation that I made for myself. (In times of emergency, you can use the acronym, “S.C.A.T., Cat!” which you will find later on in the chapter.) It would be good for you to type out the proclamations that apply to your particular situation, make several copies, and place them in your car, wallet, office, bathroom, and bedroom; anywhere you spend time. They need to be easily accessible.
Remember, you CAN believe the Word of God. Speak the verses aloud with AUTHORITY (it makes a difference).
Read them as often as necessary, but at least three times a day. Do not miss a day.

Proverbs 3:2 Because I obey God’s Laws, He shall ADD length of days, LONG life, and PEACE to me.
Luke 10:19 The Lord gave me power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me.
To make it simpler I have written an acronym in order for you to be able to recall help quickly:
S.C.A.T., Cat! The word “scat” means “to leave quickly,” therefore, I felt it would be an appropriate word to use whenever the need arose to combat fear or panic. Of course, Satan is as of a roaring lion so we will refer to his spirit of fear as “Cat.” If you can memorize the words “S.C.A.T., Cat,” then remember what each letter in S.C.A.T. stands for, then, it will be quick means of help.
Do not run.
Resist the urge to flee.
Plant your feet solid.
Take a deep breath.
Tell yourself “Hey, I can handle this!”
Cast down those thoughts that are opposite what God says about you.
Whatever you thought to make you afraid, make yourself say “NOT!”
Use Scripture and declare just the opposite of your negative thought. (Ex: “I can do ANYTHING in the Name of Jesus!)
ACT IN FAITH!
Act means to “appear to be that.”
Faith is ACTING on what you have prayed about.
Go ahead and ACT as if you are brave!
Put on a smile and ACT as if you are as “bold as a lion!”
To cast down a negative thought you must REPLACE it with a positive thought.
Think about how BIG the LORD is!
Thank Him for everything you can think of.
Thank Him for removing your fear and giving you peace.
Thank Him for giving you love, power, and a sound mind, etc.
As you THANK HIM and really FOCUS on Him, His presence will completely surround you, and bring calm. THERE IS NO FEAR IN HIM!
